Practice information
Terms of Use
1. Scope and review status
These proposed terms concern use of the public socialworksolutions.org website operated by Turning Point Counseling & Wellness. They do not replace clinical informed-consent documents, a signed service agreement, privacy notices, or policies supplied through the client portal. This draft is for review and is not represented as an adopted agreement.
2. Information is not clinical care
Website content is general information, not individualized medical, mental-health, legal, employment, or disability advice. Browsing the website, sending an inquiry, receiving an AI suggestion, or making a payment does not by itself establish a therapist–client relationship or guarantee acceptance for services. Clinical care begins only after the practice completes its required review, consent, and service arrangements.
3. Emergencies
This website, its forms, email, and AI tool are not emergency services and are not monitored continuously. Do not use them to seek urgent help.
If you are in crisis: this website is not monitored for emergencies. Call 911 or call/text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).
4. Scheduling and client portal
Therapy appointment requests and clinical intake are handled through the practice’s external SimplePractice portal. A request is not a confirmed appointment until the practice confirms it. External services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
5. Evaluation fees and payments
Evaluation fees and included services are described on the evaluation pages. Review the selected option and checkout total before paying. Online payments are processed through Stripe. Options without online payment are submitted as requests rather than charged through this website; the practice must confirm the fee and billing arrangements for those services.
Payment is for the evaluation service, not a promised diagnosis, favorable report, approval of FMLA or disability benefits, emotional support animal accommodation, school services, or any other third-party decision. A clinician’s findings must reflect the evaluation. Employers, schools, housing providers, insurers, and other recipients apply their own requirements.
6. AI suggestions
The optional AI tool provides a preliminary suggestion between evaluation options. It may be incomplete or incorrect and must not be relied on for diagnosis, treatment, legal eligibility, or emergencies. A clinician determines the appropriate service. Do not enter identifying details or sensitive clinical records. The Privacy Policy draft explains the external processing involved.
7. Appropriate use and communications
Provide accurate contact information and submit requests only for yourself or someone you are legally authorized to assist. Do not use the website for unlawful activity, harassment, impersonation, malicious uploads, automated abuse, or attempts to access another person’s information. Public inquiries should contain only non-sensitive contact and service-request details.
Contact details provided with an inquiry or payment may be used to respond and send service-related messages. Do not treat a website inquiry as consent to marketing communications.
8. Website content and availability
Website text, images, and other materials may be protected by intellectual-property law. Do not reuse protected materials without permission except as allowed by law. Information, fees, and availability may change; confirm current service arrangements with the practice. Temporary interruptions or third-party service failures may affect access.
9. Questions and changes
Final terms and any later revisions should identify an effective date and provide notice or obtain consent where required. For questions about services or these proposed terms, contact the practice.
